I am an Xbox Music Subscriber but am confused by the buttons I see on my phone's Music Store.
When I select an album I click "download." I assume this is putting the music physically on my phone. So what the heck does the buy link mean when I tap on a song I have downloaded? Have I not just "purchased" it? - 11-17-2012, 03:11 PM #2
Well, assuming it works hp the same as the Zune Pass, no, you did not "buy" it when you downloaded it. You have downloaded a copy of the song that will only play for you as long as you are a subscriber. If you cancel the subcription, you will no longer be paying for the rights to play that song, and won't be able to play it. But if you buy it, it's yours to keep, even if you are no longer a subscriber.
