I know it is an option with this forum software. We have seen a large influx of pure idiots lately that are talking out their anus about things they are ignorant of. Enable the ignore function so we can turn off all the background noise.

It's a public forum not a secret society.

The ignore function would enable a forum user to ignore other forum users, that's all.

It's there, just a highly guarded secret. But since y'all have been so nice, I'll tell ya how to do it: A) Click avatar of user you want to ignore. B) look down under the avatar on the left on the profile page. C) Click 5th option down "Add to Ignore."
    This space for rent.

sooo.. you want to ignore certain users.. guessing "trolls" that create troll threads or post in troll threads? how about just avoid reading and replying to troll threads?

There is nothing wrong with ignoring a poster who just provokes a person. It's better to ignore than to get caught up in an argument that might lead to an infraction for all involved.
