Hey folks - great forum!
Something i just noticed tonight when replying posts - it would double-post my reply (within a single reply) and between the text say "post merged at 8.30pm" or something similar.
I've seen it with others too, but here's my example...i went back and changed my other replies to delete the duplicate, but left this one for you to check out: Lumia 810 rattles?
take care! - 11-19-2012, 06:20 PM

Craziness going on! It's done it on every post for me.
Whether it's a quote or reply. I quickly delete the dupe.

Another test, going advanced!

Testing
It appears that it only happens if one does not "go advanced", but I rarely go advanced when I post.--Laura Knotek (formerly known as lak611)

Testing again. I was using the desktop browsers before. Now I'm running the "Metro", "Modern" or whatever Microsoft wants to call it version of IE10 in Windows 8 Pro.
This is a quick reply.--Laura Knotek (formerly known as lak611)

Hmm. "Go Advanced" does not make any difference if one uses "Metro"/"Modern" IE10 in Windows 8 Pro.
Desktop versions of IE10, Firefox, Chrome do not throw "merged post" if one uses "go advanced".--Laura Knotek (formerly known as lak611)
