One of the developers of a bing photo download application in the Marketplace mentioned that the APIs for his application to change change the WP7 wallpaper were not yet available, so the user has to manually change it after the bing photo is downloaded. So I believe as soon as M$ opens up that API, the developers will code their applications to change the wallpaper automatically when it downloads a Bing photo.

Here's my small collection. Some are the Bing images and others are images I cropped to fit. None are mine.

Hey guys. I'm starting this thread because I'm looking for new wallpapers mainly because the Bing backgrounds from the Insider app aren't doing it for me anymore
What lock screen wallpaper are you using? Provide a link if possible.
What theme color are you currently using? How often do you change it?
I'm currently using Lime for my theme, but I switch between Blue, Green and Orange. - 04-01-2011, 08:32 PM #57
Currently using the attached wallpaper. Right now I'm using a custom purple color on black background. My favorite native color is the green.

I'm a a green/light theme, and using a picture of Hunter Rose (from the old Matt Wagner comics) as a lock screen.

I'm using green on dark as the theme colors. The darker theme colors show up better on the white background that the email and Office apps use. As a Blue Angels fan, I chose the attached wallpaper.
Palm Pilot > Palm V > Palm Tungsten T > Palm Treo 650 > Palm Centro > Palm Pre > HTC Hero > Palm Pre > iPhone 4 > LG Quantum > Nokia Lumia 920 - 04-02-2011, 08:57 PM #66
I can live with that! As long as it's NOT the yankees! :)

Ok so back to the subject at hand... Apart from the amoled screens on the Focus and Dell Venue Pro, is there a difference in battery life if one were to use the light theme background? I always used the dark background, but after playing with the light theme something seemed so radiant about it. It really really caught my eye and I'm thinking about using it but I'm not sure if that would adversely affect the battery... I have brightness set to auto because it always stays at a constant level that is between low and medium (apart from being outside in open daylight of course). Any help would be great I'm not even sure how many people use the light theme lol.
