Just received word from the official AngryBirds Twitter account that they DO plan to update the Windows Phone 8 versions of the games. Good news!

Ehh, without a time frame, it's a pretty meaningless statement, in my opinion. Heck, they could mean that an update could arrive in 2 years, and they'd not be lying.

the update could be 1000000 years away and just a version bump with nothing new and they wouldn't be lying.

That's kind of my point. I hate going through these things of "something is coming at some point." We're sitting on that with the Gameloft line of games, Pandora, and Temple Run, among other apps.

had update this morning. it has added Hoth levels & it has another coming soon.

I got another update today after the Hoth update and now it crashes at the title screen. Anyone else have this issue?

Yeah, there appears to be a bad update after that one that may have gotten pulled.
