I actually agree with you. There are a lot of other apps this a platform needs. If I were you I would think about getting an iPhone since this platform isn't mature yet.

I will never use Instagram, but I want it on WP8 so badly so that those silly threads will come to an end. But I guess this kind of threads will never end. The next thread wave will be about Snapchat then. :(

If you NEEEEEED instagram, don't get WP. Simple as that. There's bunch of great apps out there that's just as good/better than that app. Fhotoroom, Lomogram...
It's the same with whatsapp...people just get stuck because others use it
