Does anyone know if media sent through WhatsApp (photos, videos etc) gets saved to the SD card if you have it enabled in the phone settings? Can't see a specific option in the app and can't see where it would be on the SD card, certainly when I go to videos it's showing as empty.

I get a lot sent through from my family in Oz and it's going to blow my phone storage (820) if I can't save to the SD card.

so long as you have selected that photos and videos are stored on the sd card under settings on the phone, then I can confirm whatsapp saves those incoming attachments on the sd card
