You might take a look at this app, even if you aren't necessarily an art aficionado.

It's got a very interesting interface that lets you look at different examples of fine art paintings from the 17th-19th century. You can zoom in very tight and the 160 MB images retain amazing fidelity.

It also works as a lock screen pic client, so you can have a nice new piece of artwork as your lockscreen image every day, or even every 30 minutes if you want.

I didn't get what it was at all until I clicked the link. Once I had Tart in my mind, I couldn't shake it either (I did think of the food Tart at first). Once you see the app examples it makes sense, and then I put on my sarcastic hat to post. haha.
