gmaps v2.0 cannot log in to latitude

Hi all,

I installed gmaps pro v2.0 last night immediately after updating my Lumia 800 to WP7.8.

All looked great until I got the latitude login error.

No matter how many times I generate the error in the app, my google account is not prompting me to allow access when I re-login from desktop.

Any suggestions how I get this working?

Same for me on the free version w Lumia 920. I suspect it has something to do with Google's complex security settings. I'm going to fiddle with Google some more and see if I can get any joy.

for some reason you have to log into your google account from a PC (mac or windows) and then it worked for me.
