I've come across this http://www.windowsphone.com/s?appid=...0-e6ab57aed983 (Nokia Pulse beta) published under Navteq Europe, so far it looks official but I'm not entirely sure it's legit, has Nokia said anything about releasing Nokia Pulse for non Nokia devices?

Should be legit. Navteq is owned by Nokia, if that helps put your mind at ease.

Thanks for the heads up on this. Very interesting that a Nokia app is available to non Nokia w8 devices. Hopefully some of the more useful ones will soon be available as well.
