IMO weather apps should be free, but it seems that everyone that has one they like costs $1.50 or $2. Im not saying $2 is ridiculous, but spending $1-2 on every app can get pretty pricey. I dont mind paying for a few apps, especially if they have nice live tiles and work really well, but im seeing way too many people saying how bad an app is, or how the live tile quit working or whatever, and its a pay app. Spending $1 on an app to have to spend another $1-2 on another app to replace it seems like it would get a bit old and frustrating.
Anyone have a good list of free apps that dont have any major issues, also, any free weather apps?

Favorite Free Apps:
Amazon Mobile
Flixster
IMDb
Mixtapes
remembeReel
TuneIn
Urbanspoon
One thing I want to mention though is an app called TVshow. It's not free. However, it's one of the most polished apps you will find in the marketplace. Highly recommended. - 01-09-2013, 04:31 PM #5

accuweather is free and among all the weather app i used, it seemed most accurate. live tile works perfectly and its not a battery hog.
here are the free apps that i found good and use regularly:
freda/ bookviser (first one has better features while the second has better interface)
fantasia painter free (this is amazing)
flashlight XT (simple flashlight, no ad, no fuss, metro style)
fuse (best news reader+youtube channel subscriber. free version has ad and no live tile background agent) - i'm getting this as soon as my new cc arives
icq (well i use it for gtalk only, has toast and tile notification, no ad)
manga reader (good interface, no ads)
comic book reader (average interface but no ads)
photosynth (this is amazing)
shazam (unlimited tagging now!)
zomato (best app for foodies :))
dictionary (good stock of words and amazing interface)

psshhh....I put 410 to the ground and can drive 4 full grown adults around. Not many cars from 7-9 years ago that can make that claim ;) Who cares that it looks like a bloated Cavalier, I like it ;)
