I work at Game and yesterday we had an email saying the app will be updated to include a barcode scanner so you can check trade ins on your phone plus a few other things.

Now in guessing the iphone will be updated on the 14th but what about wp8?? We are usually left behind when it comes to things like this.

Hopefully we will have a fix for the balance too as it only updates when you reinstall the app.

Anyone else have any info :)

To be honest I uninstalled the app as it didnt really do anything. Could be so much better. An option to link to your credit card info for putting down reserves on preorders would be good and linking it to your local store. Then all you have to do is open up the app at the store to confirm the preorder.

App has finally been updated. Balance works and now includes trade-ins plus other stuff.

New version is much better. I agree with martinmc78 an option to place pre-orders/reserves would be good addition
