For new Windows Phone users, here's a list of YouTube apps on our platform.

I know Vimeo isn't a YouTube client but just included it too.
New additions will be added to the list when they appear.
Hope you find the list useful. :)Last edited by TheWeeBear; 05-26-2012 at 04:34 AM.

They all work pretty good to be honest GazooAz, you'll just have to try them and see which one you prefer the look of.
My favourite is Youtube Pro simply because I like the UI more than the others. :)

Does any of these have a live tile that shows u when new videos are uploaded to the channels you subscribe to? I know YouTube Pro has live tiles but it seems like you have to put the channels individually on the start page and not just 1 tile for all channels..

Can any of the apps play video in embedded screen with the comments etc. visible at the same time? I hate when the video goes instantly to full screen. Lazytube could do it, but then they removed it from the marketplace. I bought it, but can't install it anymore. God damn google.

Why is PrimeTube not on the list?

PrimeTube sucks. Stolen UI. Goes against Metro with its chrome buttons. Videos play in browser, not the app. It just sucks.

PrimeTube looks awful on my PenTile screen. Also, pretty ugly design IMO.

Well, from what I heard on the podcast maybe it was taken down due copyright on the name, hopefully they will rename and launch again

I've replaced YouTube Pro with PrimeTube as YTP is no longer available. :)
Can't have links that no longer work can we ? :)

Something happened with the YouTube site where some HQ/HD videos are rendered differently or something. There was an article. Some devs are trying to fix their apps to accommodate this change. Has anyone's YouTube app been fixed yet? Oh, my vote is for metrotube. By far one of the best YouTube apps. Some great functions. And its free. Just need to get that HD thing fixed.
