I know we have many wonderful choices in the marketplace but I wanted to ask the wpcentral family which one they preferred. Thank you

Fuse, Fuse and Fuse. Did I mention I like Fuse?

I used to use Wonder Reader and it seemed good.

What if you don't use a Google Reader account? What is the best stand alone news aggregator?
I tried Pulse since I am familiar with it on iOS and Android, but the WP7 version is slow and is limited to 20 feeds. Weave is good, but it integrates all the feeds into categories, and I prefer seeing each individual feed. Fuse looks like what I am looking for, but the reviews on the Marketplace suggest it's very buggy.
If Pulse ever gets updated to full functionality on WP7 and loses the lag, it will be my pick. Until then, what do you guys suggest? - 12-14-2011, 11:41 AM #12
Try Fuse to see if it's buggy for you, the trial is fully functional. The ribbon theme is similar to Pulse but more refined.

I went with NextGen Reader. I had to set up a Google Reader account, but it was no big deal. It's not as visual as Pulse, but it is smooth and fast.

I use www.google.com/reader/i/
Works more than fine for me - 12-19-2011, 12:21 AM #18
All apps listed here are wonderful... but do not forget to check out Nextgen Reader.

Knitting is good, but it is integrated into all types of feed, I would rather see everyone's feed. Fuse looks like what I expected, but in the market review shows that it is very wrong.

I've tried a few, and right now I am using Fuse. Pulse iOS version (Android version is good but far more unstable than iOS) is my favorite, but on WP7 Fuse is the way to go.

I use Feed reader, and love it. It has support for Read it later/Insta paper, so you can add the items you want to read it later. also, it has a good read it later client as well. the best part is it has text to voice that I use when I am in the car. it does a good job. the only complaint i have is, i dont want to put the live tile since I have a lot of feeds with a lot of unread items. i had put it once as live tile, and it drained my battery pretty quickly.
