So i read this article today (WhatsApp For Windows Phone Gets Updated To Version 1.4.0)on my facebook page and i just blazed to the market place to update it and enjoy the improvements.

It's not a IM in the sense that you sign in to an account. It's linked to your phone number and you talk to other people. Read about it and you'll see it's completely different to just using msn on your phone.
