Hey guys, I just spoke with Microsofts support. Theres an issue with their servers; they are working on it and it should be resolved within 24 hours. Official info on Microsoft.com coming up. Just thought you'd like to know.

For a company that specializes in cloud, how can they **** up so often?

Yup. Just tried to install app updates as I have about 20 needing an update. Came up with "Try restarting your phone" blah blah blah, then gave me the error code 805A0193. I'm in UK using a Samsung Omnia GT-I8700 running WP7.5.

Not great for Microsoft if it's their servers..

Same in Sweden on a Lumia 620, Saturday night was OK, not Sunday morning...

Lets hope it's due to an upgrade; either hardware or software rather than a simple outage.

Despite this downtime, after having had my Lumia 920 for about a month i still feel sorry for anyone else not on WP8 :D.

Same on 8s in Wales, UK. First discovered about 7:30am GMT (UK), Thought it was because my router wasn't on etc.., but STILL down.

You gotta love the irony of MSFT informing you that you need updates; and it's THEIR servers that are causing the problem!!

You sir just hit the nail directly on the head.
Its such a pain in the a** that wp is so bad constellated and even people with a developer's device cannot develop good system near apps because ms keep their codes for themself.
Atleast this wouldn't be a problem if MS would create some good apps but just look at the Facebook or PDF reader app..
I would say, that ms just screw up all their followers with such foolish moves.

My first device was a htc desire hd with android. After i learned to play around with rooting and flashing my desire hd i felt more and more in love with my dhd.
Androids power combined with the really nice building quality of my dhd makes me buy another htc device.
My eyes were catched by a wonderful blue device. - htc windows phone 8x
Just the optic makes me buy this device.

Now, after like 1&1/2 month, the blue color of my device rub off (its no dirty, its a know problem) and i learned to know the OS..
I wish i had buy an android phone..

Wp is not a OS for people who have had Android before.
