Ive been trying to figure a way to get my live tiles to fix without uninstalling the apps. Thing like TV show dont keep your settings when uninstalled, so you would have to redo all of the shows and episodes after a reinstall.

What i found that worked right away thismorning...

Before anyone says that 1 of these things seperately may have fixed the issue, ive tried all cominations and orders, this is the only 1 that definitely worked. Deleting browser history has fixed for some, but without doing all of these steps in this order, i have yet to get a confirmed fix.

Here is the list of what i did in order.

1. Disable the background tasks for all live tiles, check box to enable again after opening the app
2. unpin all live tiles
3. Delete browser history
4. Soft reset(vol down and power for 10+ seconds)
5. Repin everything
6. open each app so it starts background tasks again.

This should fix your problem. It fixed my battery sense, TVshow, and weather flow without having to uninstall or reinstall everything.

I hope this is at least some sort of faster work around than others.

TVShow has a backup to Skydrive feature. Haven't tried restoring myself, but you might look into it.

Hmm, also my live tiles are not updating. Tried your "récipe" but didnt't seem to work. Pretty pathetic given that the lives tiles are wl8 main selling point. too bad it does not work properly.
