I've done a quick search and I've discovered that my fears are confirmed. You can't save a file from an email or from SkyDrive to the phone's internal memory? I don't understand why. It's like the phone has commitment issues with me. Let me in! I'd like to formally announce my displeasure for this missing feature. Anyone else?

I believe that EVERYONE has this displeasure, except x-iOS users who were used to this environment.
Indeed, the lack of a proper file explorer is one of the very few things that disappoint me.
Combined with the stupidly microSD card management by the system (cannot install apps on my SD?!?!?), the matter becomes a bit tragic.
