    Given all the random power usage on Windows Phone 8, it looks like if you are an app developer, you can really help the situation:

    Optimizing Battery Consumption of Windows Phone Applications

    Microsoft have a simulator which will enable you profile your app and work out the power utilization, as well as guidelines for optimizing power usage.

    As someone who would love their phone to last days, I ask all developers to read this article.

    Battery life is more than just the size of your battery and operating system. Devs play a big part too! Thanks for sharing.
