So what happened to these top 46/50 apps promised?
So we all know that the 46/50 top apps promised by Joe B at launch of wp8 are non-existent. So what's going on with that? Did they just decide against it? I mean the major one was Pandora, and it is yet to be seen on wp8... Sure I prefer last.fm, but the average consumer doesn't care about that, they care about the name. Aka iPhone's success
Re: So what happened to these top 46/50 apps promised?
They will all be here Tuesday.
Re: So what happened to these top 46/50 apps promised?
The top 50 list probably changed, so now MS has to pursue the new random stupid Instagram-like app.

That was only the case for casual developers. The big developers (like Rovio) had it ages in advance.

Don't ask this. You will regret it! :(
Re: So what happened to these top 46/50 apps promised?
i know some of the apps made it from that list (draw something, words with friends, angry.... wait, was angry bird on the list?)
some are slowly popping up over the last week or so, i think in a month we should see a good chunk of them pop up
Re: So what happened to these top 46/50 apps promised?
Microsoft lied. Once again giving promises that they can't keep.
Re: So what happened to these top 46/50 apps promised?
@Dave Blake, when you see this
can I call the guy on #13 the T word.....?
Re: So what happened to these top 46/50 apps promised?
didn't they say q1 for Pandora? We are still in q1?
The four remaining after are Instagram, pinterest, wells fargo, and one more. Who knows when we will get those.

I hope they make you swallow that.

Re: So what happened to these top 46/50 apps promised?
Microsoft better deliver on this one, or everyone will abandon the platform for good.
Re: So what happened to these top 46/50 apps promised?
Microsoft can only do so much... the devs for those apps have to do the rest.
Re: So what happened to these top 46/50 apps promised?
I like my Lumia 920 and WP platform...but can't help being impatient
MS has failed so far to deliver but hope they r trying hard...they have missed to strike initially but really hope they make a comeback
People like the eye-catching design of both the hardware and the UI but nothing beyond that...even a 2 year old iPhone or Android device kills WP8 by the sheer plethora of apps they have
I do understand that its gonna be slow for apps to be developed...then why the f**k didn't MS release SDK earlier for app developers to start working..
Why come up with app developer challanges now why not earlier??
Questions will be asked and the best way to answer them is by releasing some ******* apps in MWC...in MWC 2013 not 2014...just wanted to clarify for folks at MS if they have other ideas..

All Gameloft games are coming for Holidays 2012, according to Terry Myerson, the corporate vice president of the Windows Phone Division, who for some reason is not yet fired for ****ty execution over and over again.
Meet Windows Phone 8
We were also supposed to have not only Gameloft games but also games from other studios for the same launch window, did not happen.
Welcome to Windows Phone!

Microsoft isn't anyone's girlfriend that it has to keep promises. Be thankful it isn't as ruthless as other businesses in the same industry charging you $900 for ****.

WP division needs a strong leader, like Sinofsky who always delivered
