I have text message back-up enabled, where are these saved to? Can I view them anywhere?

As far as I'm aware they are backed up to the "Cloud" and are not visible (or at least I haven't found a way to view them).

I haven't verified and unable to at this time but I believe outlook.com has a messages section.

They are backed up but not viewable beyond the messages app on the phone itself.

that is only messages (messenger, Faceboook), not SMS.

Yeah, on MS side.

If you go to your Outlook.com (or live account) you'll see a Messaging History section at the bottom left and as others have said it only allows you to view facebook/messenger messages. Any text messages are apparently backed up in the MS cloud somewhere but not accessible...
