Windows phone is like any other OS. It runs the apps in the app store. For the average user, creating logic in visual studio to run an EXE file wont happen.

An ".exe" file is a binary executable file that runs on specific operating systems (Windows, DOS, OS/2, etc.) on specific processors (names x86/x64 cpu's).
Windows OS != Windows Phone OS.
Windows Phone OS requires a different type of executable because its applications have a very different lifecycle from desktop applications. The CPUs are also different and native binary code will not run cross CPU.Thanked by: - 01-03-2013, 02:48 PM #9
