I couldn't find a thread related to this.
I have a Nokia Lumia 920. When I receive a phone call from a number in my contact list such as "Home", the ringtone gets interrupted by the phone, mutes the ringtone and begins to repeat "Home" over and over again. I cannot find a function to turn this off. Can someone fill me in? - 12-27-2012, 05:10 PM #2
This is a tough one! I did it, once, but I cannot remember how. It's definitely not under Phone settings, Contact settings or Speech settings. :(

You'll need to disable talking caller ID. Accessibility on my phone | Windows Phone How-to (United States)
