    I just wanted to know what about the kindle app or even this website's app requires so much energy? It's like these apps require as much energy as a game which doesn't make sense at all. I use the dusk theme on the kindle app so not much is lighted

    I dont know, but I did notice some apps do drain power even if they shouldnt. Epub readers for example - I've recently tried nokia reader but my l820 was getting hot from using it (=heavy load)! Switched back to bookviser in no time.
