    I am looking for an app that would allow me to make a custom tile from one of my pictures, to just pin on my screen.

    There are apps like "wiztiles", and "tiles", but they only allow small/medium sized tiles. I want the custom tile to be a large size one..are there any apps to do that?

    Try Photostream and select "Local Album" as a source.

    That isn't useful because the app updates the lock screen, not a tile...
