I know that many people have transitioned from Gmail to Outlook.com. I am trying to make the switch. However, I have one issue that I am concerned about.

With Gmail, I am able to have my 8x search the server for emails that I have not downloaded to my device (e.g., emails located in other folders on the server). When I try this with my Outlook.com account (search, then "search more", then "search all folders"), it is clearly not searching all folders since the results that are returned are only those in my inbox on my phone.

Is anyone else using Outlook.com able to get the server search to work correctly on WP8? Thanks.

Just ran across the same issue. It's a little disappointing.
