I bought a factory unlocked Lumia 820 from Clove UK. I live in the USA. I set all of my regional settings to English (US). But I still see labels like "favourites" (instead of "Favorites") and "surname" (instead of "last name"). Is there a way to convince my phone I am an American?

Can I suggest if you don't want to speak English... You'll want to flash a false-English firmware onto your phone....

That's funny!
I actually have all of my settings on my WP7.5 device as "English (United Kingdom)" except System locale. I did that so I could get dates in DD:MM:YY format instead of MM:DD:YY format.
