Maybe I'm losing my mind but I swear my app list used to be just one long list in alphabetical order. Now when I swipe over to it it looks more like my contact list does. It's in alphabetical order but it has the letters of the alphabet breaking up the list into sections by first letter of the apps. Did I unintentionally change something, has it always been that way, or did a update change it?

It's not your imagination. You've now installed at least 45 apps. Once you have this number or greater, you get the alphabetical jumplist just as you do for contacts.

Did you know you can click on the letters and a screen pops up with the alphabet? This helps with getting to an app faster when you have 45 or more apps installed. Honestly you might like it later down the road.

Are you kidding? I LOVED it when that feature came. I am quite an app *****, I had like 300+ apps on my WP7 and probably around 150 now for my WP8. So that feature helps me to find my apps very easily.

No u cannot change it unless you delete apps.
