Has anyone experienced an issue with downloading attacahments?

I am usually on wifi account and no mattter if tthe file is 120 KB or 3 MB, it sometimes takes like 2 mins to download an attachment.
I email my dad who is stationed overseas and it's annoying as **** trying to download an attachment. It's not just him, it can be anyone.
Usually on my old android phones, it would only take 2-10 seconds to download an attacahment.

yes, this happens all the time even on wifi. Only time it appears to download quickly is when i am using lte networks. Attachments, even the smallest ones take several minutes.

Pretty normal for me on my Lumia 810. About same as all past android phones.

But I know exactly what you mean. Used to happen on my HD7. Not sure why attachments took a bit to download. Almost as if it was waiting for a response from server maybe
