I am not sure what it is but it forced me to be on WiFi and installed, switched off, show that Nokia reset sort of screen for about 5-6 minutes and rebooted. I am not sure what's updated yet.

After restart it had "migrating your data..." screen that was 4 steps in total. So it did 1 of 4, 2 of 4 etc..

Don't think anything has changed but all I can notice now is my TellMe recognises only 2 commands - "Call" and "Open" :s

Had to have been firmware or something else, I am on HTC 8x and my OS is the same as yours - so couldn't be OS update unless the 8x already was updated before it came out!

Did you change language options? That can give you an "Update" notice but it does not result in a real change of anything but the language.

Yeah the process is the same if you install a new keyboard language. You get an "update" containing the new keyboard data, and it goes through the whole reboot, spinning gears, migrating data thing.

EDIT: Also, when you first get notified of the update, it should show a fullscreen messagebox saying 'an update is available' with a list of what's in the update. (in my case, only the new keyboard)

Just manually checked for an update on my Lumia 920, and there was not one available. I do note that your firmware version is slightly newer than mine. Maybe it's rolling out in stages.

I'm in the UK. I didn't update any keyboard or languages. That notification was on there as soon as I unlocked my phone this morning. What firmwares do you guys have?

That could explain it. It's probably the firmware for un-locked phones. And here I thought we were on to something. Lol

I mean lockscreen unlocked. Mine is carrier locked to Orange UK i.e. EE.
