    I'm trying to add songs to my existing WP8 playlist. How to do this?

    I suggest searching the forum first. But here is the answer anyway - play the playlist, add song to now playing, and save now playing with the same name. You might think this is cumbersome, and it is....

    this appears to be the only valid fix for now lets try and get Microsoft to fix the Xbox music app or the WP8 Modern app to address this ASAP!
