Cant find this one anywhere. Is it possible full length mp3 melody as a ringtone on WP8, or it is done in the same way and the same limitations as on Mango ?

Full length? I don't think any carrier allows a phone to ring for that long. I personally use "easyRing & Music". Excellent ringtone app.

On WP8 it is possible to put a full-on mp3 as a ringtone. Connect the phone to the PC, browse the phone and you'll see a Ringtones folder. Drop and drag the file you want to be a ringtone into that folder and then when you go to the ringtones+sounds section of the settings it'll be at the top of the list.

Honestly, that's just pathetic, unable to choose a song directly from the Music+Video library. 10yr old Symbian phones could do that, each and every Android phone can do that. I'm not sure about iOS, but I presume even they can.

What? Android can do that? I'm in Google Music right now on my GS3 and I don't see where it can do that. I have to either (1) Plug my GS3 into my computer and drag and drop music into it, or (2) use a 3rd party app to take my music and make it a ringtone.. Guess what, Windows Phone can do that too.
