I was thinking we should make a sticky topic with a list of apps that work 100% with WP8, including support for the new resolutions (no black bars) and features like lock screen notifications, live app features, fast resume, etc.

Just a thought. What do you think?

PS: I'm waiting for a black 8X to arrive in the next few days.

the gf recently picked up a lumia 920 and I found a lot of the WP7 apps didnt work. Error message stated the device didnt support the resolution (WVGA). I can't remember all but skype was one of them.

Hopefully developers will start pushing out those updates soon

That sucks, I've already made a list of apps I want to download when I get my 8x. I hope a majority of them work...

I can't find Spotify on the store since switching from Nokia 900 to 920... So either something happened and its gone, or maybe just not for wp8?

ESPN & Espn scorecenter both work, but unfortunately no lock screen support yet. Also, the live tile for scorecenter doesn't work well, gets stuck on one score and stays there without updating.

CNN lock screen doesn't work for me, either.

Spotify was one of the apps I was searching for..its there, but wp8 phones aren't supported yet :(. For apps u couldn't find in the store, if you search using Bing usually it will give you a link to the app in the store.

Spotify says your device doesn't support the wvga resolution required by the app.

So far I am not impressed with some apps for Windows Phone 8.

ESPN Tile doesnt seem to update, or not regularly or correctly.

Two of the games recently released, Words with Friends and Draw Something are very very buggy. Lag, notifcations arent always prompt, Draw Something games seem to get stuck, both games crash sometimes. Sound sounds awful. Very, poor half assed ports

Spotify and Skype need rework cuz they used native code on wp7. Skype coming soon, Spotify in Q1 2013
