This is probably a dumb question, but since I am switching over from android to WP, I am not always sure of the basics of operation.

I currently use and app to sync with my iTunes and to play audio or video files on my droid phone. How does this work on WP, media player? If so, do i need to convert all of my files over from iTunes to media player so that they will show up on my WP and then that app will show up on the new phone? I've never liked the media player desktop experience, so if there is a better way I am open to it.
