I wouldn't really consider that as a fix. I think the toasts were an intentional design.

You don't want toast notifications on lockscreen? This is the problem with the OS, right?

Correct.
My concern is that if I were to leave my phone on my desk and someone is in my cube and I get a text -- they could read the text (or at least part of it) even though my screen is locked.
I realize by default iOS will allow people to read/preview texts above the lockscreen also, however iOS lets you disable that feature.
I am hoping that toasts do not appear above the lockscreen anymore.
