This is a shout out to all Indian windows phone users !
I've been noticing almost all the people who updated to 7.8 that the Zune wide tile is not live but just the icon whereas its supposed to show the album art and song name !
Does anyone have observed any live tile behaviour of their music+video tile or is it just the plain icon.

Same thing here in Canada. Apparently you will have to buy songs from M$ now to get live tile.

Buy songs ? That doesn't sound right, I read many people in US getting the live tile thingy.
Any ideas of how to get it ?

I'm in Canada. It works fine for me with non-Zune-purchased music.

No live wide tile for me. Using 7.8 on Nokia Lumia 900. Official update via Zune.

One thing to do is to sample something in the store. As long as you have the market link under the artist, that means zune can find him/her (if not, make sure the name in the mp3 tag is correct). Load a sample from the store would cause Zune to load the artist's image. Not really worth the trouble if you ask me.

The primary Microsoft account linked with your phone should be a US account..only then will music+videos live tile work..

In order to change your primary account you need to completely reset your phone and set it up again

When you say live tile. Does the tile automatically refresh when the next song starts. I do see album art and the first song I started. But it doesn't refresh unless I go back into the music videos hub.

"Changing your microsoft account to us" does this mean just changing your country name and then logging out and again signing up in your windows live ID ? If not please tell me.how to start the zune live tile i think its a problem because zune marketplace is not available in india!

You can set your place to UK too and you will have Music Tile ;)

In Settings->Regional+Language change Region format and System locale it to United Kingdom and then make Restart on your phone. After that it should be working!
