    Here's my question. I know changing the Microsoft account tied to a WP7 phone is impossible without losing everything. But what if I only want to change the password? I'm afraid I'll be forced to reset (and lose all my app data). Has anyone done this?

    Sorry if it's a stupid question. I just need some peace of mind in case the totally unexpected happens :)

    If you use a hotmail.com or outlook.com account as primary account, changing the password over your PC, then adjusting it on your phone should be a non issue.

    I changed my Windows live password via outlook.com and now i can't use the Marketplace on my Lumia 900
