Tried checking in through the Me Tile but it's unable to do so. It tries but to no avail. I thought it was just me until my sis tried hers but it didn't work either.
Anyone else?
I'm not sure if it works or not from the FB app, I can't find the place on it *shrugs*

Mine seams to be working fine. Try using IE to make sure you gave a data connection. Check maps and see if maps can locate you.
