I just got my Lumia 710 and two questions came up right away:

How can I change the PIN-code?
Where do I change the volume of ringing signal?

1- On the start screen, select Call menu > three dots > call settings > change SIM PIN (at the bottom).
2- pretty sure you cant adjust the volume of the data/signal alert

1. Settings - Swipe across to "Applications" on the top - Phone, and its at the bottom.

2. Just press the volume up button on the side of the phone.
