I seem to be constantly changing the apps that I have pinned to my homescreen. I'll pin and unpin apps after trying to use the app, or telling myself that I will actually use an app like the New York Times app or the AllRecipes.com app (cooking... ha! wishful thinking)

My primary 8 tiles always stay the same with my extra ones varying from time to time

It's a pretty rough layout for my homescreen, I know. If anyone knows if there is a nonhomebrew screenshot app I would appreciate that :)

I just downloaded the AppDeals, Words by Post, and Stop the Music! apps, I really like them all. It's interesting to see what apps people value and use enough to put on their homescreen. :)

Top many to list. But to summarize; several of the built-in apps, 4 emails, 3 folders for; favorite apps, map/search apps and storage/SkyDrive/Dropbox apps, a couple live tile Sports score apps, a couple quick access note apps, speed dial, battery meter, network dashboard, parcel tracked, urban dictionary, weather channel, and a bunch of others. Think it's 42 right. Trying not to add any more.

Oh, and always a few temp tiles for reminders, notes, etc., that fall in below my Settings/Marketplace tiles at the bottom of my screen. The temp tiles get deleted daily.

The "Alarms" Tile I especially like. The time of the next alarm is indicated on the tile. I always get paranoid that I have my alarm set on the wrong time.

My philosophy is if the app doesn't show up without having to scroll down, there isn't that much a point of pinning the app anyways. I considered removing the "Pictures" tile; but kept it simply because it was aesthetically pleasing.

At this point, I would take either. Every day, my wife rubs it in my face that her iPhone will do it, natively. I had an app on my BlackBerry that I gladly paid for, and would again on this phone in a heartbeat.

i actually put my fav albums on there, and the new ones i get, also some of my frequented contacts, and groups, and games i try to get some time in on, i've been keeping a flixster "Avengers" tile on there for the movie, as a reminder...

That's a pretty good idea, a tile for reminders to try an app or whatever I want to remember, I can put that where my weather tile is, because I don't really need a live update of the weather. I'm usually windows adjacent throughout the day. :P
