    Hey guys,

    Lately I've been having some eyestrain and I was wondering if it may have something to do with the settings on my phone. I currently work 8 hours a day and most of the time I'm sitting on a computer staring at a screen. I've been reading some articles and I realized that perhaps the switching from Black on White [Computer] to White on Black [Phone] could be making my pupils dizzy by constantly readjusting to the light changes.

    What are your thoughts?

    Depends on what you do, your ambient lighting, the sources of that light, direction of that light, your primary monitor (and it's settings, too), color calibration of that monitor, etc. What's on the monitor.


    For me, primary light comming from above and the sides, with a color calibrated Dell U2711 (plus slight bias lighting) has reduced eyestrain for me (also, WP7 SDK [VC#] and a generally color neutral background is what's normally on the display). It's almost dangerous now, since I can use my computer for hours without feeling eyestrain (but my eyes have trouble focusing for a few min afterwards - dangerous to the point where I have simply used my computer less, and not even played a game for a while, in order to not overstress my eyes).
