AAAARGH! The HTC update has effectively ruined my phone - it's no longer seeing my non-hidden wifi network. Network is fine and up and running, and the phone can detect others, it just can't see mine :(

    Update with caution!!!

Nope, just plugged it in. I was already on Mango. It's bizarre - it's picking up pretty much every other network in my street apart from mine, and there are no other issues!

EDIT: think I've fixed it - my network was on channel 13. Changed it to 11 and it works again. Weird!

Any chance that your network is actually down?

Same here. Does anybody know if it's coming to the Arrive? Is that considered "first gen" which I hear are the phones getting the update?

It does indeed. It's so simple. . . unlike on Android.

OK, have played with wifi - can confirm the HTC update adds Internet Sharing but removes the phone's ability to see channels 12 and 13 on your router. Which is a shame, as I got the best signal in my house on 13.

Pretty strange, but there you go.

Since the update, if I'm listening to music, the player is always visible with the locked-wallpaper. Can someone verify if that's happening on theirs, please?

Sorry, I was in a rush and didn't clarify. The drop down player is constantly there whilst I'm playing music. I noticed it when I used my phone to check the time. After repeated checks, it was still there.

Is that not just the setting that may have reverted to 'on' Big Supes ?

Settings / Lock & Wallpaper / Show artist when playing music / On / Off

Apologies if it's not that, but thought i'd just suggest it, just incase. :)
