WebOS convert here and YES! I'm absolutely going to install. Homebrew on WP7 has a long way to go and I hope this is the beginning of much more fun to come.

As soon as there is a compiled list of available and functioning homebrew apps, or I decide to start coding my own. Right now though, I have little interest in unlocking my phone.

Has anyone been able to successfully install the current homebrew apps on the legitmit chevroned phone? Specifically the screen capture app.?

Currently dev unlocked, which I subscribed to in order to get into my registry and figure out the live lifetime glitch. No plans to publish apps though. So when I am up for renewal on March, I will save $90 and fo the Chevron route.

Screen Capture and Folders work perfectly on my dev unlocked (no InterOP unlock) device. From what I have read the Chevron tools works exactly the same. Even requires you to download dev tools, so not XP machine. Vista or 7 only.

Definitely...theres alot of things I'd like to tweak, change or add. But I'm not a dev so I'm hoping I will be able to understand it or figure it out.

Everyone, really, really needs to research their phones before unlocking if your goal is to tweak things. If you can't interop unlock your phone you will NOT be able to tweak squat. Without InterOp unlock you can't modify the system in any way.

I wouldn't have any interest at all to download something like chevron, but the lack of customization on this phone has me looking for things to change that. Mostly its the color scheme and some other things you can't find in settings. Other than that I wouldn't mess with how the system runs or anything like that.
