Does anybody know of a way to make your phone check for an update (i.e. MANGO) manually?

I know you can check for an update through Zune manually. That is not helping my cause, and not the answer.

I also saw on the Sprint website that states the phone (my HTC Arrive checks for an update every 3 days. I never knew....

So, rather than wait a exasperating 3 days, and furthermore not even knowing when or when it is checked at all.......... is there a way to manually check for an update immediately?

Not that I'm aware of. I guess you could go in to phone setting and manically click and unclick notify me of new updates, but I'm not even sure that will work.
