    At the very bottom of my lock screen is an envelope icon with the number "2". I don't have any messages stored in my voicemail and all my texts have been read. So what's the envelope mean? TIA!

    Could be your Windows Live account has an email or a POP mail account if they are not pinned to the start screen you wont know there is a message until you open the mail account.

    thanks guys. it's so obvious now. I had read the 2 emails on my regular email on my laptop and didn't realize I hadn't cleared them on my phone
