    Ok so I'm a blackberry user, and that probably never going to change. However the media/web browsing capabilities are awful on the Blackberry. I've had the iPod Touch which is very lackluster and boring now and the Zune HD which i like but it feels limited. So my question is, can i buy the phone off of ebay and use it as is with wifi, or is the phone locked without a carrier. Any help would be appreciated!

    I know someone who has used it on wifi only (without a sim card installed). Most apps/services will work over wifi (Zune, email, IE, etc...)
