My grandpa needs a new computer, especially one with an optical drive. I'm looking at this one, and you get so much for the price! Just one thing, the display is the same as the surface rt, and it isn't mind blowing. Is it good on this computer, or not so good? That's the only thing bothering me. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure he wants this computer. Anyone have this or have seen it, and know what it is like? Thanks!

The screen looks pretty good, I saw it at a Costco on the weekend. It looks like a nice laptop for a good price. I would go for it.

So now, either this or the xps 12. This is cheaper and has an optical drive, and more storage, etc, but the display isn't as good and isn't as fast. We'll see. :)

the xps 12 is nice, also look at the yoga, I like that one a lot, great bang for the buck. Also, I saw dell was selling an inspiron 14R with touchscreen for around 599$ good price on that with an i5, the screen looked pretty good for 1366x768
