    hey gang, hoping you guys would know as Bing search is coming up snake eyes.

    I want a smartglass/airplay like functionality so I can use my phone to run my TV which is run exclusively from my Win8 laptop.

    Can this be done?

    Tips/advice most appreciated!

    Not to my knowledge. WP7/8 can only be used to control your Xbox.

    If you have a Nokia you can use Nokia Play for DLNA, but that's the only DLNA option

    (or do you just want a remote? there are options if you jsut wnat a remote)
