They are different stores. Different stories. They are basing this assumption on both OS sharing the core, totally different!

Stupid. Pre-cracked software will always be the primary method of piracy because it's far more convenient to leave the hard work up to the crackers. Every app store out there has its apps cracked. This is not more of a story than when people first discovered how to crack Windows Phone apps, or Android apps, or iPhone apps. It's inevitable - you have access to the file system, you get to directly see and modify the bits. Anyone who is making a big deal out of this should already be posting daily articles on how Windows and Android suck because they are open, allowing for sideloading of pirated software out of the box and for users to access the bits of the software they own.
