Just checked Costco pricing. They have the 8X for $129 and the 822 for $49.

That's an awesome deal. Too bad they don't seem to sell it off contract, I would totally buy from Costco if they did.

I'll have to keep an eye on them when I'm up for upgrade pricing.

Can't say for certain because listed specs are sometimes incorrect but the 822 at Costco is 8GB while the one directly from Verizon is 16GB internal storage. Could just be listed wrong on the Costco site.
